My paintings attempt to engage the viewer through a poetic sensibility that uses sensation and rhythm to develop and manifest meaning in the physical medium of paint. I want the viewer to understand each painting as a creation of place and not a facsimile of our world. My work encourages reflection on the emergent, ephemeral moment. |
